The Duffle Small is made of the legendary Rugged Twill canvas and keeps all your valuables dry, even in the most extreme conditions.
The interior has one spacious main compartment. Super easy to load and unload your stuff quickly. In addition, there is a slip pocket on each end for storing smaller things you like to have separate. The heavy-duty brass zipper is rustproof, virtually indestructible and reinforced with Bridle Leather. To further protect your valuable contents, you can cover the zipper with the signature storm flap which you then secure with a snap to prevent water from entering. The solid brass carabiners and buckle are sand-cast and debossed exclusively for Filson - a fine example of what Filson means by "Might as Well Have the Best."
Filson uses Bridle Leather for the shoulder strap, for the handles and the straps that wrap around the bag to safely carry heavy loads. The adjustable shoulder strap has a sliding shoulder pad for comfort with heavier loads, allows for shoulder or cross-body carry, and can be removed if you prefer to carry the Duffle by hand. Each handle is cut from one piece of leather and features a snap-secure grip that molds to the shape of your hand over time. This two-snap handle ensures that you will carry the bag comfortably even when it is fully loaded.

To make sure this strong bag can take a beating, the entire bag is stitched together with very strong cotton wrapped polyester thread and the D-rings you attach the shoulder strap to are secured with a double layer of leather and riveted for extra strength. The industrial-strength cotton is tightly woven in a 2-ply x 3-ply twill and lightly waxed for lasting protection against abrasion and wet weather.
