WHAT IS 10.5-oz. 100% COTTON DRY FINISH TIN CLOTH?

The "10.5-oz." designation stands for the weight of the fabric: 10.5 ounces per square yard (about 356 grams per square meter). This is a relatively heavy and dense cotton, which contributes to its durability. The material is a sturdy cotton duck canvas that is undyed and has not undergone any oil or wax treatment. This is why it is referred to as 'dry finish'.

In contrast to Filson's Oil Finish Tin Cloth, which is treated with wax to be water-repellent, the Dry Finish Tin Cloth is more breathable and lighter. This makes the material more comfortable for everyday use and for warmer conditions.
