This Filson Dry Tin Cloth Cruiser Gray Khaki is the ideal work jacket for use in spring, summer and fall or to wear in layers to combat the cold. The Dry Finish Cruisers are specially designed for drier conditions, with increased breathability compared to the Filson waxed version. Dry finish Tin Cloth is not waxed and thus much lighter than Filson's Tin Cloth brethren. Dry Tin Cloth Cruiser provides the same protection from wind, abrasion, and brambles as their original.

AN ICON FROM FILSON ARCHIVES RETURNS

This Dry Tin Cloth Cruiser is the next edition of the 110-year Cruiser legacy. First released in the 1970s, now reissued from the Filson archives. Patented in March of 1914, the Filson Cruiser was designed for foresters cruising timber ahead of logging crews. The original was made from warm Mackinaw Wool and available as a pullover or button-front jacket. The waxed cotton version followed soon after, with double-layer outer sleeves and shoulder fronts for added water protection. The waxed canvas version was an alternative to wool in wet, muddy, and brushy conditions. In the 1970s Filson introduced a version that was treated for water resistance but wasn’t waxed, and now it’s returned.

FEATURES

The front features four snap-flapped cargo pockets, side-entry hand pockets and a slotted tool pocket on the left chest. A full-width reach-through pocket covers the entire back and creates a double layer of protection. Also the outer sleeves and shoulder fronts are reinforced with a second layer of Dry Tin Cloth for added weather protection. The snaps for the front closure, adjustable cuffs and pocket flaps are virtually indestructible for maximum reliability.

This 'Dry Tin Cloth' offers the greatest protection against wear and tear. Filson's Dry Tin Cloth is a 100% cotton duck canvas with an extremely tight weave, which is the key to its exceptional tear strength and abrasion resistance. A bit stiff initially, it breaks in like a good pair of boots, molding to the shape of your body. It’s a puncture-resistant barrier to thorns and barbed wire, while sawdust and debris brush off with ease. Purpose-made for drier climates and conditions. The unwaxed version of Filson's iconic signature fabric delivers unfailing abrasion resistance and durability.

CARE
